Keeping In Touch

We decided to start a blog to help update our family and friends of our whereabouts, thoughts, feelings, and life adventures. Hopefully this will be a great tool for us to keep in touch with all out there who care about us. Not to say that those who don't care about us shouldn't read our blog for valuable insight and some occasional laughs, but that the intended purpose of the blog will be for keeping in contact. And so, here it goes...

I'm a Shepherd! Check out my sheep!

Also included in my countryside visit...a tour of the farm! Sheep, goats, cows, horses! This one almost came home with me! Wouldn't Ryan have been pleased?! ;) I may have discovered a future career!

Countryside Visit

Two of my Mongolian counter-parts decided I would NOT be allowed to leave this country without having experienced true countryside life. This included playing 'Dress-Up-the-Foreigner' in the traditional Mongolian hat, del, boots, etc! Good times, good times!

Winter pastimes...?!?!

The Mongolian winter is once again upon us! (Correction: Actually it started over three months ago...minus the month we ran away to SE Asia.) But with at least one whole month to go...do you ever wonder what do we do with ourselves when it's -20/-30 outside?! Answer: Take pictures...of course! Who could get bored when you're striking poses like these?! :)
